| A recrystallized limestone that formed when the
limestone softened from heat and pressure and recrystallized
into marble where mineral changes occurred. Hardness rates
from 2.5 to 5 on the MOH Scale. Marble has many color
variances due to the impurities present at formation. Some
of the different colors of marble are Green (serpentine),
White, Black Gold, Pink, Rainforest Green & Rainforest
Brown, Oyster Beige, Onyx & Blue Fantasy etc. Marble is classified into three categories: |
