Slatestone

 

Natural slate is a compact metamorphic rock, composed primarily of silica and alumina. It is used in large scales in the construction of buildings and for flooring, roofing and wall cladding. It is a fine-grained rock formed by the composition of mud and stone sediment. The finest come from the quarries in Rajasthan in India.
